10The following day the children were excited to be going to Susie%u2019s beach hut at the seaside. %u201cCan Salem come?%u201d asked Kit.%u201cI%u2019m afraid not, dogs aren%u2019t allowed on the beach during the summer%u201d said Susie.%u201cAnd it wouldn%u2019t be safe to leave him in the car, as it%u2019s too hot,%u201d addedMurph.%u201cHe%u2019ll be Ok at home with plenty of water in his bowl and Firefighter Mark said he%u2019d take him for a walk with Amber and Ash after lunch, when it%u2019s cooler.%u201dThe weather was forecast to reach even higher temperatures, so Susiepacked lots of suncream and made sure all of the children had a sun hat and bottle of water. She also placed the children%u2019s newly painted T shirts in the boot with the two cool boxes of food. By the time they reached the seaside it was scorching hot.
