Last summer, because of the wet weather, Susie dug up her concrete patio and planted grass and shrubs in its place. This was to help the rain water drain away, but with so much rain the garden had become waterlogged.All of the children were upset. The pet show on the village greenhad to be cancelled. The green was waterlogged too. Mrs Bone, who lived at the farm, had told Susie that the ground was saturated.%u201cAny more rain and poor Mr Bone will need to move the sheeponto even higher, drier land.%u201d%u201cGosh!
