8Susie and the children did just manage to dodge the rain, however as soon as Susie arrived home the rain came and thunder rumbled in the distance.Susie decided to pop in and check on Nanny Dot next door. Nanny Dot answered the door looking flustered.%u201cThank goodness you%u2019re here, I%u2019m a bit concerned about this weather it seems to be interfering with my electricity and I was just about to phone the electricity company.%u201d %u201cLet me come in and check, mines still on%u201d said Susie. There was indeed a problem with Nanny Dot%u2019s electricity, but it wasn%u2019t the weather. As a safety precaution a house is fitted with a mains trip switch which turns everything off and should only be operated by an adult. Susie found the fuse box under the stairs and reset the main trip switch and the lights came back on.%u201cNo need to call the electricity emergency number just yet%u201d, she said smiling.%u201cYou might have had too many appliances on at once, or are you overloading those sockets again?%u201d she asked kindly. %u201cNot since I had my Safe and Well Visit%u201d said nanny Dot convincingly, %u201cNow I have electricity - Shall I make us some tea?%u201d
